Introduction - Culturally Responsive and Trauma Informed Assessment

In the context of a global health crisis, systemic exclusion (e.g., racism), and increased conflicts and wars, it is imperative for assessment practices to be culturally responsive and trauma informed. Module 6: Culturally Responsive and Trauma Informed Assessment will situate health and educational assessments within equity, justice, cultural and gender responsiveness, and trauma informed principles and practices. Included in this module are strategies for creating, modifying, and administering assessments in ways that are equitable, just, and effective for all persons.
